The two browser-based service systems KIX (free of charge) and KIX Pro (fee-based) contain comprehensive functions to support you efficiently in your IT service and technical service. This provides optimal support for your daily service business. KIX Pro can be extended with numerous additional modules in addition to the basic functions included out-of-the-box. KIX Pro is open source and the ideal solution for medium and large service teams. The open interface architecture makes the system perfect for integration into heterogeneous IT landscapes. KIX Pro can be deployed on-premise or in your cloud.

With KIX Pro, you have the opportunity to introduce ITIL workflows step-by-step in your service organization. All essential workflows for service employees are mapped. Intuitive call guidelines for the hotline and comprehensive integration options in related systems such as inventory, JIRA or the telephone system can be used to support this. In the self-service portal, IT users, as customers of the service organization, have a direct overview of all their set incidents. Simple templates help with the reporting of service requests.

License Model

Maintenance for KIX Pro and the additional modules is charged per instance. Software maintenance includes software maintenance and the provision of updates and further developments. In addition, a certain support level is included depending on the maintenance contract. Furthermore, we offer the possibility to participate in our training program (e.g. adminstrator training) as well as in the regularly performed tech updates.

Our German and English speaking service team offers support levels from 7×5 for normal office hours up to 24×7.

Product Maintenance

Product Maintenance includes the maintenance and further development of the entire KIX Pro software and additional modules. We ensure that commonly used feature requests are incorporated into the standard of the software. You receive the software in your exclusive download area. Due to the integrated work of our product team, you will receive quality-assured software with appropriate user and administration documentation. At the same time you become part of the KIX community. You have the possibility to participate in administration trainings in Chemnitz. Once a year, a user conference lasting several days takes place to exchange experiences. In the forum KIX administrators worldwide support each other, supplemented by our service team.
